Derek Good - Managing Director
Derek has over ten years of General Management experience in the UK and in New Zealand. Throughout that time, he has developed a passion for excellence in service and the development of people at all levels in an organisation.
As a sales focused leader, Derek assisted in the growth and expansion in New Zealand of TalkTactics until new owners purchased the company in 2003.
Derek’s experience has led him to create a partnership with Craig McFadyen and establish Rapid Results to utilize the combined knowledge and abilities for the benefit of organisations throughout the country. As previous winners of North Shore Enterprise’s Excellence in Service Delivery Award 2002, Derek and Craig have proven themselves to ‘practice what they preach’ and with that experience Derek contributes to the company:
- Business consulting, performing company audits, producing business plans and building sales teams
- The creation of a simplistic Return on Investment (ROI) model to assist organisations in developing business cases for training & development
- Extensive experience in the New Zealand call centre industry and development of programmes and relationships relative to roles within the industry
- Sales and relationship experience that saw TalkTactics grow almost 50% in the first year, NZQA and Fiji training accreditation come and Derek became the resident DMA contact centre forum presenter
Derek now sees the ability to provide all organisations with exposure to services that will improve their opportunities for success and achieve business excellence.
