Karyn Johnston

Karyn's business experience of the past fourteen years has included Regional Management, Sales Management and Telesales Management with National Companies and in each case contributing as part of their Senior Management team.

Karyn's significant achievements include:

  • Setting up a 'Greenfield's' Business to Business division and Telephone Sales Team within a national company and delivering huge revenue growth within 3 years.
  • Merging 2 existing national company's sales teams and developing the revenue growth through Telephone Sales.
  • Developing people and teams to achieve more than their perceived potential by creating a positive and encouraging environment for them to learn, excel and contribute in.
  • Turning 2 poor performing business regions into positive ebit contributors.

Working with Telephone Sales teams within the Contact Centre environment over the past 10 years has given Karyn some insight into the many issues faced by Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.

It takes special skills to create, maintain and develop a work culture of flexibility, fun, enthusiasm and productivity as well as deliver the business and people requirements.

Karyn believes there is an opportunity to 'Transform the Culture within Contact Centres in NZ' into one that people aspire to be part of, are happy to work within, while realising their potential and contributing to the organisation or business.
